Although many people like to think of themselves as clever, wise, insightful etc. We are, in fact, all Stupid Children. We all act like Stupid Children but the worst group of all are young men. So many problems in the world are caused by young men around ‘sixteen to thirty-five’. When it’s not them causing the problems, they are the tools used by despots and idiot leaders to do their bidding. This is one of the focuses of Stupid Children. Others include, jingoism, misplaced optimism and the ridiculous concept of land ownership.
A delicate, gentle intro of single echoed notes introduces a journey of ever-building beauty and an underlying power that keeps growing until it is at last unleashed with an angry guitar playing the most perfect, melodic phrase you could ever imagine. After the anger is spent, all the instruments fade as if exhausted and give way to the delicate, echoed notes from the intro bringing this journey to a beautifully rounded completion.
Who is Jason Klaire?
Jason, born in Cornwall, started learning guitar at 9yrs old, formed own band playing and singing his own songs, moved to classical guitar at age of 19, picked up an electric again in his 30’s, has been working as a guitarist/teacher of all genre’s ever since. In 2023 he started releasing his original music as a solo artist.
His varied musical background has turned him into the unique talent he is today. A formidable guitarist using a mixture of classical, acoustic and electric guitar technique who draws on a range of styles from jazz to rock to classical.
His songs are an unique combination of wonderful musical compostion, political/world statements, clever lyrics, fantastic humour and incredible guitar work. A feast for the ears, mind and soul.
Jason never had any dreams of being a rock star, he only ever wanted to be a musician. Now, after years as a working guitarist and teacher, after years of listening to and playing music; he knew exactly what he loved about music. He knew exactly what he wanted from a piece of music. He knew exactly what a song needed to be awesome enough to satisfy his musical desires. The trouble was, they didn’t exist. So he decided to write them himself…..
